Highly effective Litmus Test that ALL should use in the wake of political-adjacent scandal (i.e. Whoopi Goldberg/The View drama): ▪️If the variables associated with a scandal were inverted, would you still feel the same way?🤔 ▪️Would your reactions wane in even the SLIGHTEST capacity if the person involved w/said scandal shared political viewpoints with you? 🤔 If the answer to either of those questions is 'yes', then you *MIGHT* have some SERIOUS personal reflection to do. Just saying! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Re: Whoopi's situation -- I am a free speech absolutist who believes the road to enlightenment is reached BEST through open, respectful discourse. Therefore, I don't believe Whoopi should have been suspended or "canceled", because it's counter-productive to that goal. ✌️
