Grew up in Menlo Park, CA through '70s-80s, didn't go into the tech "factory." Computers were refrigerators that became boxes on desks. This caused the long-term economic gold rush that destroyed the middle class, and enabled career Democrats to use the "tax the rich, save the poor, save the planet" nonsense without opposition. They rigged the terrestrial CA elections, shifted to tech. Decades later, results are evident. The middle class is gone (I moved out), there are more poor/homeless b/c of bad policies, crime off the charts, etc. Transient tech ruined everything. Twitter is being exposed as an enemy of the state and the people, and I hope Elon Musk's involvement not only exposes and destroys the willful malfeasance there, but in the entire tech industry.👾
