When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. ( 1st Corinthians 13:11) As adults we still find ourselves acting like children, do we not? Throwing temper tantrums, lying (big and small), people pleasing, jealousy, selfishness, blaming others and not taking responsibility for our own actions. The inspired Word of God tells us to put these things away and grow up. It's time to be a Christian adult and face things head on. But when it comes to our faith we are to be childlike.
