Book 10, Hollow Lives, was released in July last year. Sadly, that didn't give me enough room to finish book 11 before Christmas. Still working on that one but very nearly done.

Hollow Lives tells the story of Dr Abigail Darius, a physics prof. who finds a way to detect membrane universes. With her funding cut off (no obvious cash benefits!) and with the help of her husband, she continues her investigations at home. Everything changes when someone in another universe responds to her call.

On average, I write around 1,000 words a day. Sometimes more. I complete a chapter roughly every two weeks. Book 11 is so far at 16 chapters. I think another 1 or 2 at most will do it. Of course, then I have to put the whole lot together, format it, and then go through it from cover to cover to make sure I've not said something that I contradicted later. It then goes out, in sequence, to two more editors to try and catch the stupid mistakes. Some still get through despite six editors, and me, repeatedly, trying to catch them all, but the bulk are caught. What's left isn't even spotted by most readers. I re-read, spot them, beat myself up, and fix them.

Very pleased with the cover of this one. Drawn by a 14-year-old lass who has proved herself remarkably good! https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0C...
