What happens when all of those cars are electric? There are many things that we need to consider about electric cars. Nobody has wondered yet if the electrical grid can handle every home adding a 60 to 100 amp circuit to their house for a car charger. I am an electrician. Hint: It can't handle that right now. Oh, and you are going to have to build some electrical production facilities of some sort (power plants) to generate enough electricity for the increased load. Solar and wind won't do it.
