It’s a June 7 open primary and only the top two candidates will compete in the general. If we don’t get a Republican in the top two spots in the primary, we won’t have a Republican candidate in the general election. They’re trying to pitch Shellenberger as an alernative to Newsom. They’re going to get the moderates to vote for Shellenberger then the Dem party will put its money behind Newsom and we’ll never escape. We need Trimino (R) in the top two in the prinary.
