That the US Senate doesn't want to audit the aid to Ukraine is certainly discouraging. In particular I am MORE than disappointed in Senator John Kennedy. I really didn't put him in the same bag with some other well known (infamous) rinos. One wonders if he, and others, really believe we shouldn't be able to account for our foreign aid, or if they were simply bought. I always enjoy Senator Kennedy's viewpoints and his questioning, but alas, I have lost a lot of respect for him. It's difficult to get that back.
I personally believe that foreign aid is something that is a valuable tool, but that it should always, and only be American good and services, transfered and delivered by American means (ships, planes, etc.) and fully audited in the USA and abroad.

More lip service from Speaker McCarthy? I hope not, but if it looks like a duck....... According to one report the Weaponization Committee has five staff and $2 million, while the Dems gave 98 staff and $18 million for the January 6 Committee. Lets continue the incomplete January 6 Committee and look at ALL of the evidence.

Is there anyone who has not yet read Naomi Wolf's article in Human Events? I have some dear friends who were, and may still be, in the place Naomi was until recently. When people whom you have trusted for a long time mislead, it is very difficult to go thru the critical thinking "door" to look at certain issues. Hopefully more will do so, soon.

The reports, which may or may not be exaggerated, or even true, of the wife of a Ukraine politician being caught trying to leave that country with many millions (29?) of dollars, the pallets of US Dollars abandoned in Afghanistan during the recent pull-out, and the stacks of cash flown to Iran by one of our previous administrations reminds me of another simple idea. How about a law (they love to pass laws in DC don't they) requiring all Foreign Aid to be in goods and services, produced, provided, transported and administered by Americans or our allies. No cash or currency, period. Paying someone to be your friend is not a good plan.

A random thought: What about requiring our elected representatives, at all levels, to affirm under penalty of perjury that they have both read and understand any bill or proposed law, etc. Simple competency should be expected. If they haven't read, and don't understand what they are voting on, don't!
