The DOJ could indict more than 1,000 additional people on charges related to the January 6th 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. The DOJ sent a letter to Chief Judge Beryl Howell of the District Court for the District of Columbia on October 28 warning that the court should prepare for another 700 to 1,200 defendants, according to  Bloomberg, which reviewed the letter and first reported it Wednesday.
