4/2 Also on the left you have a small group of antiwar types who are aware of American imperialism and do not want war with Russia exemplified The Ilan Omar or AOC. There are of course an old guard of tankies that still have a sentimental view of the Soviet Union and don't want war with Russia, these people are dying out though. It is up to a motley crew coalition of politicians to stop the war machine from gaining momentum. This coalition would be the Rand Paul libertarians, the squad members like Omar, the MAGA true believers that have not turned pro war, and the old line hippy socialists who still haven't forgiven America for Vietnam etc. These antiwar coalitions never really get organized enough to stop wars but it was attempted in the past.

3/2 Institutions also. In this view the "cultural marxists" on the left in America are in a secret unholy alliance with Putin to take down America. There are a small number of antiwar libertarians that have actually thought out tye issue and do not war any war at all, exemplified by Rand Paul. There is a growing contingent on the left who is convinced Trump was Putin's puppet and they see Russian agents hiding in every MAGA acolyte. These people believe there are Russian disinformation agents populating every comment section and will call you out as a Russian agent if you have bad grammar in your comments. These people have unwittingly created a hysteria in America that has pushed us in a dangerous direction toward confrontation with Russia.

Rhis view holds that Putin is a secret patriot standing up against the UN and America's corrosive NWO values. They view Putin as a reformed commie who got the holy spirit and is on a crusade to rid the world of corrupt leftists. Then there is the harder right John Birch society view that the Communists never left power and that Putin is a Satanic KGB agent hell bent of becoming the next Stalin and using deception to lure in the naive western Christians into his alliance. In this view the entire UN and world order has always been doing the work of the Communists and that they have taken over America's...

It's important to understand the right wing trends in American politics because America ALWAYS defers to the right wing Republicans in matters of war. Even if the foreign policy establishment wears a progressive or humanitarian fig leaf. First off the neocon/neoliberal worldview is held by at least 80 percent of all American politicians regardless of party affiliation. This view is exemplified by Lindsay Graham or Hillary Clinton and views it as America's right to wage war and regime change on any state that is in the way of full spectrum dominance. This is the leading thought school that shapes our foreign policy. Biden appears to be less of a neocon than most which has prevented immediate escalation.
