School Shooting This is how you prevent school shootings. Hire recently retired police officers (those who are still very motivated) and returning military personnel to be SWAT trained and guard schools, have metal detectors at all schools, K-12 public and private and colleges and universities public and private, and only one entrance to enter and exit. Have all fire exits locked and wired to the fire alarm system to all unlock when the alarm is activated. Metal detectors at the only entrance and exit, and all visitors/parents sign in and out. Allow all teachers and administrative staff including maintenance and kitchen staff to carry concealed firearms voluntarily and only after attending a tactical shooting school & annually have to refresh their range training.
