One of the commonly used “stumper” arguments for evolution is the supposed similarity of human and chimp DNA. If evolution were true, this would make sense, as chimps are one of our nearest “relatives.” A biblical view, however, would deny this relationship, as Genesis 1–2 makes it clear that animals reproduce after their kind and—most importantly—that humans are very distinct from animals, having been created in God’s very image. How then do we respond to arguments that humans and chimps have DNA that is 99% the same? bit.ly/3X5Bv4U

I love the newly renovated Legacy Lobby outside of the auditorium @CreationMuseum called Legacy Hall. In the lobby there's a Legacy exhibit honoring my parents & the way they boldly proclaimed God's Word & trained their children. Answers in Genesis, the Ark Encounter, and the Creation Museum are a legacy of these godly parents who did all they could to impact people for the Lord Jesus Christ. Their legacy is impacting tens of millions of people a year. Oh, I also had a photograph of me taken with myself at this exhibit. Come visit us soon.

I find when Christians believe Genesis chapters 1-11 as literal history (as they should, as Jesus and Paul did), they usually don't have problems believing the rest of the Bible like they should. Conversely, I find when Christians reject a literal Genesis, (six literal days, no death before sin, thousands of years for the age of the earth not millions, literal Adam from dust and Eve from rib, etc.), they often soften their stand on doctrines like marriage and gender—and end up doubting other passages, too. Genesis 1-11 is literal history.
