⚠ BEWARE O2 THIEVING BASTARDS! I bought a Samsung S10 Plus (supposedly interest free) from O2 at £681. The highest phone shop price was £899 - a saving of £211. My 36 monthly device payments are £18.92 - so far, so good. But #O2 increased my Airtime Plan by £21.65 - over 36 months = £779.41 and I could not leave O2 still owing device payments [I intended to pay plan off then Covid lockdowns hit] so I changed my Airtime Plan to cheapest I could work with, which was £9.16 more expensive than my original plan: £9.16 × 36 = £329.76 extra. The £681 Device Plan + the extra £329.76 I have to pay for an inferior Airtime Plan is £1,010.76 I was duped into paying £111.76 more. If I stayed with my original Airtime Plan I would have paid £1,460.41 for a £899 📱
