I worked in male female prisons for 28 years dealing with people convicted of everything from non-payment of fines to serial murder serving anything from five days’ imprisonment to whole life. Burglars do not network with each other in prison, share intell mentor each other. Neither do muggers, shoplifters, disqualified drivers. Nor, as a rule, do murderers. Sex offenders do. They prey on the vulnerable. They groom condition often over a long period of time. Their methods are subtle. They break down boundaries, take their time, plan, when the time is right, act. There is no grey area in the law they will not exploit, no loophole they will not squeeze through. That risk to others does not diminish by claiming to be trans.
