Find a church and stay there, men. It doesn’t have to be perfect—none are. Does it preach the Bible? Does it confront sin? Does it call you to trust in Christ alone? Does it direct you to live a holy life here and now? If so, put down roots and work for its peace and purity. Charles Spurgeon said it well: “To be driven from church to church, as some are, is a wretched business. To be like others, changing their views as often as the moon; happy nowhere, miserable everywhere, agreeing with nobody—not even with themselves—is a poor business.”
