⚡️NATO to deploy new armored brigade near Russia in 🇫🇮Finland The brigade, numbering 4-5 thousand, will include servicemen from the Armed Forces of 🇸🇪Sweden and 🇳🇴Norway. The brigade headquarters will be stationed in Mikkeli, 100 km from the Leningrad Region, with units in Ivalo (38 km from the border), Sodankylä (116 km) and Rovaniemi (161 km). The brigade will have several battalions of 800 soldiers each. It is expected that one of the battalions will be permanently present in Finland (on a rotational basis) in the forward reaction force mode, while the rest will arrive in accordance with NATO standards for up to 3-10 days.
