President Reagan inspired me, and so many others, to join the GOP the day I turned 18 because he reminded an entire generation that America is exceptional. President Trump helped inspire me to run for office because he spoke directly to a generation of people tired of being led by people who told us we should be ashamed of that exceptionalism. He reminded the American People that they should always come first. On Presidents' Day, I honor the legacy of the men who inspired me to enter the political arena and work to save our country.
