France has banned all pro-Palestinian protests with the country’s interior minister warning foreign nationals who break the rules will be “systematically” deported. French police were forced to use teargas and water cannons to break up a banned rally in Paris on Thursday. France is home to Europe's largest Muslim and Jewish communities. French President Emmanuel Macron urged the people to stay united in a video address. The death toll in Israel has risen above 1,300 while Palestinian officials say 1,417 people have been killed in Gaza.
