Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to deliver a diplomatic snub by skipping September’s G20 summit while also dashing Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s hopes of a second meeting between them. Mr Albanese had hoped to use the meeting with Mr Xi to continue thawing Australia's relationship with China and eventually pave the way for a visit to Beijing by the end of the year.
