That the US Senate doesn't want to audit the aid to Ukraine is certainly discouraging. In particular I am MORE than disappointed in Senator John Kennedy. I really didn't put him in the same bag with some other well known (infamous) rinos. One wonders if he, and others, really believe we shouldn't be able to account for our foreign aid, or if they were simply bought. I always enjoy Senator Kennedy's viewpoints and his questioning, but alas, I have lost a lot of respect for him. It's difficult to get that back. I personally believe that foreign aid is something that is a valuable tool, but that it should always, and only be American good and services, transfered and delivered by American means (ships, planes, etc.) and fully audited in the USA and abroad.
