Most sane people believe the burden of proving safety should lie on the party conducting a questionable action rather than their victim. For example, if someone shot your relative in the head, you would not be required to prove your relative’s sudden death after the bullet fired was not a spontaneous coincidence, a result of extreme stress from the situation or the due to a pre-existing medical condition.
