Oh dear, that was a mistake. Politics is like a Roman gladiator match, the crowd want blood, & if a contestent is wounded they bay for more. It would have been better for her to say something like, ‘I want to give take cuts to help grow the economy, but the dark forces that want Globalism have temporarlily thwarted me.
