Asymptomatic carrier took Covid19 to Japan from Wuhan in January 2020. Full genomic sequencing of the cultured virus showed only 3 point mutations out of 29,903 bases compared to the original reference sequence (that is 99.9899676 % match), which is very high fidelity copying after multiple passages through an unknown number of Humans.
